What's the catch on the free platform?

How is this different from Square or Toast?
Square and Toast are generic. They serve every kind of merchant. Joe is coffee-native, built indie-first, and structured around a regenerative collaborative of shops that compound demand for each other. We don't mark up processing — and we don't charge for the platform on top of it.
Do I have to switch processors?
Yes. Card processing runs through Joe at 2.6% + $0.10 in-store, 2.6% + $0.30 online. We migrate your menu, your inventory, and your patron data during onboarding — included free for the launch cohort.
What does the 5% growth investment actually replace?

When can I launch?
